Also I disagree with you,
oliveira, in the hierarchy of things the name comes before the venue, and I think the script text catches the eye, it's 2004 and I'd hope that our audience is a tad bit more intelligent than last year and we as designers wouldn't have to spoon feed every bit of info, ie. Band:Bardo Pond, Venue:Khyber. That's not what I want to do all the time and if the client loves it and is cool with this way of thinking, I'm good and paid. Just like our last poster, I but the info at the top for the lazy mofo's but some cats got their panties in a bunch over the incorporation of that same info in the main area of the poster: http://www.gigposters.com/poster… In most cases yes it's a poster and the info should be straight forward...sometimes. Sometimes I like to make the viewer think, work, feel. I also think the colors are cool, initially I had a problem with the type but I like the stark contrast and think that the poster has a sort of cleaness to it tha brings everything together.
