Why did you all go off on this guy?
Yes, some big companies don't pay interns, but they were going to give college credit for the position, which as most of you know, equates to money since college classes are expensive.
Also, I drove for almost 2 hours one way for 3 months to my internship and was being paid minimum wage, but the place was the shit and they helped me get a new job immediately afterward.
Don't knock the guy for trying to give people a chance to work at a radio station and pick up some experience and good contacts. If you don't want to do it, then don't.
By the way that bullshit about people who didn't do design in high school shouldn't be working. That's just crap. If you have skills, it doesn't matter when you start.
