The illustration and colors ain't quite my cup of tea, but i'll criticize something else.
As you've said, their name is Bardo Pond. However, that name in the poster itself isn't the text with the most emphasys, and it should.
If I had no idea about what the name of the band would be, I'd say it was "The Khyber", because the typography for it is clearer and really calls up on the viewer.
You should think about what people look at first before moving on.
