all depends on the nature of your setup i guess... i use Intuos, always have... larger the better for me (9x 12 is what i use)... i say larger is better, as i use two large monitors on 16x12 res... especially for illustration work, it will feel more precise to have a larger tablet mapped to a large desktop.. a small tablet will seem ultra sensitive and hard to control at times.. hope that helps.... got large, spend the extra cash, is totally worth it.. great product, no problems... plus, i use it as my primary mouse replacement... a small one on 2 monitors would just be ultra annoying.
