i don't trust hp or compaq architecture or hardware grade.
but that's just me.
my top choices are:
ibm
sharp
dell
sony
gatewayin that order.
you can get ibm 600x's for under 700 bucks.
p3 500, 256ram.
the only thing that suffers on ibm's is graphic cards.
