that really is interesting, it's exactly the same at our office. except, like you said, the opposite. we just replaced our DVD/Audio mac with a new 3ghz Dell, which walks circles around the mac in audio/video compression etc. the g4 is an older computer, which is why. all the macs here are problematic, crashing quite consistently. it's interesting how it's the opposite at your work. maybe it has to do with our tech guys knowing more about PC, and your tech guys knowing more about Mac?
