  What I tried to express was is that for example the pinnacle 500 can import/export analogue information, but the card is expensive, but you can also with a good camera acquire analogue information with the camera and the firewire (export on all), so you have to know where the point is... On one hand a good camera xl1 or Vx2000(very expensive), and the other a good hardware card that can also acquire analogue signals (expensive too)
