Sweatshop seems to be the issue here... hehehe. Well, I clearly remember the office starting to fill up at 10am and people starting to dispell at 4 and by 6 the place was dead. doesn't seem like a sweatshow to me. But logically, there are some critical moments when you will work 12 hours a day, and not-so critical moments when you'll just go home and go snowboarding if you want.
As for the gettting interns for free... I remember we only had 1 intern in my 3 years there. Guys, you're all too spoiled in this web world, making lots of money just fresh out of school. forget about that. This is not Kansas anymore... hehehe. Now this is a more established and hard to suceed at business.
Do you know what you have to do to get a job at a reputable ad agency? Well, try and then tell me. It's about 1 years or contacts, being humiliated, having to prove your worth in tests and interviews, have an AMAZING portfolio (for a student, of course) and compete with another 1000 ither intern-wanna-be guys for 1 position. Yes, it's a tough world out there.
