didn't apple rip off xerox for the os and the mouse, and didn't micrsoft rip off apple?
jpeg was a photographic method created by the associated press to make photos travel quickly digitally. This company bought the patent and is suing companies that were using the tech long before the 1997 purchase, I think this could have been resolved out of court.
