try looking at pre bauhaus work and see what you can get from that period, or even some leonardo di vinci elements, those would appease to your audience and let them think you spent some time on their project. At the moment he is the only engeineer that stands out in my mind. Could you incorporat a sense of speed into a bridge or something enginerrish(lol yes it is a made up word)
