Don't return it to another store!
Here's what you do... take it the the store you got it from and put it on the shelf. Don't put it in the slot...and don't give it to an employee. When they call...tell them that you returned it ages ago. Stores do inventory every couple of months and it will turn up then. They'll be like......oh.....here it is...on the shelf all along....and some lackey will get a slap for not scanning it in properly. Haha.......
