save money for taxes, track everthing, keep records of business expenses, the rate question is tough and gets easier with experience. i've never used binding contracts (even though i should) and have only worked with people that have alot of integrity and i know will not screw me over. i haven't worked for anyone that has had a questionable reputation, in that case i'd surely use a contract.
