wow...what i find interesting is that no matter where you stand, you have a choice. see it or don't. and let the person who isn't a clone of you do the same.
for some open-minded people, you seem somewhat indoctrinated by your own opinions. if you are atheist, be atheist. if you are catholic, protestant, jewish, the same. who gives a crap what the person next to you wants to do...isn't it a free country?
people complained about the last temptation of christ, which was a polar opposite depiction of this film. i didn't want to see it so i didn't, but i didn't go around ranting to those who did. fine soundtrack, btw.
last i checked, this film isn't being broadcasted into your home. you have to buy a ticket to see it. if you don't want to, then don't.
