Wow a 14 hour flight? my advice to you is (since it's your first time meeting her) apply a fresh coat of anti-perspirant before meeting her! I had giant pit stains cause I was so nervous. Mints might be a good idea too (you might choke on gum).
The main thing is to follow your heart. I knew I wanted to kiss this girl soon after I met her, and it took me a few days to gather up the courage to finally do it. I followed my heart and ignored the critics and we lasted almost 3 wonderful years. It was definitely worth the time and the effort and I don't regret for a single minute starting things with her, no matter how hard things were.
Lots of people will tell you that you're crazy for going all that way to meet a girl, everybody told me that too, but they soon shut their mouths once they saw how perfect we were together.
