ewolverton, a little advice:
you're only asking for trouble here when you take your opinion about any band (totally fine to do so) and base it what you are able to do with creating music.I'm a musician, I've been playing guitar for 11 years, I have a band, I play solo, and I'd never come here and spout off about my abilities because all it does is invite criticism.
There's a way to be tactful and avoid that, actually, but you're not accomplishing that.I'm sure your songs would be interesting to hear, but in the context of how you talk about them, aka "Nirvana had no talent next to me" I could really care less.
Have some humility.
