No, Buss. I don't think you get the point. Any time ANYONE sells out (in the most literal use of that term), it cheapens the song. Whatever associations you had with that song have now been tarnished by the image of a damn SUV.
They sold out. So did Bowie, the Smiths, and a million other bands I've loved most of my life. Don't even get me started on what Michael Jackson did with the Lennon McCartney songs.
