    Having a closed operating system is a huge reason. If print were done a PC, you would never know what it was going to look like because there are so many 3rd party and after market software that it would be inevitable something would get f*cked up. And for high-end printing, pDFs are just not used man. If you have a lot of pms colors, varnishes, etc, very large documents, you want to send Quark or ID files. It also helps to send those files and not PDFs because they can be adjusted by the printer if need be in a rush way more easily.

    Not to mention that theMacs look cool and are easier to problem-solve, almost no spyware, the memory management is better, less crashing, etc.
