  I think we all grew up (U.S. only) saying the pledge in school.
  We aren't so stupid as to be brainwashed and just believe it. I said it as part of a routine, I could of cared less about the content of what I was saying. I just cared about recess.

  It didn't keep me from not believing in any religion. Actually I think it didn't do shit for me. Just leave it alone, kids can say it if they want.

  the one thing I liked about it is that the class was quiet for a second. i think teachers appreciate that too
