PC for me?

    I just upgraded it, but before the upgrade it was:
    1Ghz Athlon (AMD) Tbird
    384MB PC133 RAM
    40 GB 5400 RPM hard drive
    Win XP pro

    In Photoshop it is pretty comparable to my G3.
    333MHz G3
    384 MB PC 133 RAM
    6GB hard drive
    OS 9.0

    Just upgraded to a 2.3GHz Athlon 3000 (barton) so I'll letch you know how that runs if you like.

    BTW, if you want to know how fast a computer really is, speaking as someone who has benchmarked many machines, I think that opening a large file in photoshop is the single best indicator of how 'fast' it is. Hope this helps.
