i just got a dual 1.8 with 1.5 gig RAM and a 20'' cinema display.
a whole lot faster than my dual 500 g4 with 640 megs.
Yet it still has these annoying freezes with explorer, e-mail and Illustrator where you see the rainbow cloc for a long time. Panther crashes apps a whole lot more than Jaguar did.
Safari just is so slow it's not usable.I'd expect a bit more for what I paid.
