An onslaught of new products this week:
https://www.apple.com/ca/macbook…
https://www.apple.com/ca/macbook…
https://www.apple.com/ca/imac/
Etc.
YET, I can't seem to be excited about a single one... Utilitarian brain?! Lack of disposable income, perhaps?!
The "Foldgate" iPhone Duo scandal seems to be huge on its own albeit social media (namely Reddit) seems to be blowing it out of proportion...
...I mean, these devices are barely out yet and folks jump to conclusions and than fight about it.

- these days they're just like a newer screwdriver. they still do the same stuff so what's to get excited about? a new coloured handle, shinier shaft etc etchans_glib
- Wow they created a touchscreen laptop, thought it would never happen.yuekit
- The 14" touchscreen laptop is $2900 and the 16" version is $3400. The older version 14" version: $2000 and 16': $3000CyBrainX
- I see an even worse price than that....$4k for the starter model, almost $5k for the 16" one.yuekit
- I wonder if more expensive laptops are just going to be the new normal as they become more powerful and capable of running local AI.yuekit
- more fingerprints are also the new normalaliastime
- Probably wont work with the Apple Pencil procannonball1978

When do we want it?!?!? Consumer 24” iMacs in 8 colours nobody needs!!!!_niko - But but the color thing that they did in the 90s... why isn't it working still?cannonball1978
- feels like they are release a bunch of experiments or dumping excess of parts, hence no new models. Read the HomeView thing was warehoused since 2025.Squiddy
- is 120Hz that big a deal? So much hate cuz the new iPad Mini is 60Hz. (though the price increase doesn't help)Squiddy
