    50 years of U2.

I discovered them thanks to a tacky boyfriend my sister had—a huge fan of *The Joshua Tree* (I never really liked him or that album all that much).

That said, *Achtung Baby*... that one blew me away.

It’s a shame; these days, my stomach turns whenever I hear them.

It’s funny how something you loved so much back then can end up being something you absolutely loathe years later.

With lentils, it’s the opposite: I hated them as a kid, but now I adore them. Maybe Bono just ages worse than lentil stew?

    • Achtung lp was my real first time I cared about them - they nailed the that 90s sound and imagery, design, saw them live for that tour, their best imoprophetone
    • I’m the same lol, for some reason, I can’t listen to them now, and I listen to tonnes of 90s stuffprophetone
    • I still love the fly, but...OBBTKN
    • I'm kind of the opposite... I enjoyed Achtung Baby but anything after that was a letdown. Anything Joshua Tree and before still has a place in my heart.PonyBoy
    • I like ‘Zooropa’ the tune still but maybe like a once a year listening lolprophetone
    • POP was still holding its own... but from then on, it was a freefall with no brakes.OBBTKN
