I was only familiar with the Holmes and Musk trailers, and I think they are very different. I showed the 'Holmes' trailer to my teenage son because he's interested in cinema. Even though he knows nothing about the people involved, he was interested in watching it. He wants to watch Primetime because it stars Robert Pattinson and is produced by A24. So, there's the film aspect to consider.
I didn't know about the Altman one, but it doesn't seem to be a documentary, rather a biopic starring Garfield, which seems to be more in line with The Social Network, which I thought was a decent film and an interesting cultural artefact. However, I would put The Big Short above The Social Network.
I don't mind or care if it fuels those people's egos. I think it's a worthwhile exercise in filmmaking, and while there will be some failures, at least they serve as a record.

- To be clear, my main point is regardless of the intent of any of these, it is such a lazy choice of topic. They are already omniprescent, no need to glass up.garbage
- also pali be wary of A24, they're now consumed. Part of the reason Neon got the Altman doc rights.garbage
- i doubt its a gloss up.... wolf of wall street, social network, vice big s... more of a show how puny and deranged the protaganists r..neverscared
- and the musk thing is hardly a melania style thing on the screen i guess.neverscared
