    What got me out of every rough no job times was launching a project myself, spec pitching the projects I wanted to make, looking for sponsors and future partners (even before they were funded, if they ever were) or reps for these projects.

    This keeps you active and "distracted" + is a chance for new people to see what you're capable of, what ideas you have etc. Plus it's a way to connect with people who can later give you jobs, without being exactly asking for one.

    Hang in there, nothing is permanent.

    • Also, if interesting and not too time consuming, pro bono work for people you like is sometimes a good way to reassure yourself about your skills.spl33nidoru
