As a teenager I had a dream that I knew I was dreaming and wondered what would happen if I lifted my eyelids while dreaming. I did it once and thought that's interesting. Tried it a second time and realized the sun had come up already and that surprised me. After the third time, I woke myself up and yelled. I never had a dream like that before or since.
