    I just overwrote the wrong After Effects file, thereby wasting about 3 hours of work today. This wouldn't be the case if there were auto-saved files in the same folder. The preferences were set to save but they didn't. Thanks Adobe. I'll be sending you the project brief to finish that for me today.

    • Autosave in Adobe apps isn't reliable; It seems to only work if you haven't manually saved for time limit. Time Machine/backup is better to have.evilpeacock
    • Time Machine is one of the things I miss about Macs but I'm on a Windows PC. I've never had this issue with autosave before.CyBrainX
    • Autosave doesn't mean file versioning. Seems like it's your own fault.NBQ00
    • I know what Autosave does. I could have had the majority of that work back but of course saving over the wrong file is my fault.CyBrainX
