    Managed to get down the Great Ocean Road for a week after the roads opened back after the flooding. What a mess everywhere, although the area we stay was pretty unaffected. Got to see the Aurora Australis, which was pretty epic! A few pics...

    • TS: yes! Started quite dim as a band across the southern horizon. Then got the pulses and vibration in the sky. Watched from after sunset to midnight. Superb!sab

    • I have luckily also seen the Northern lights when in Iceland a few years back too. Diff colour range amazingly with more green/blue. Here had more purple/red.sab
