The incessant posting and opining on subjects that are outside of his area of expertise are both exhausting and boring. To come here and see every thread always have posts and comments by him is tiresome. This little corner of the internet has been overrun by a petulant child who doesn't comprehend nuance with his constant shit posting and crappy comments.
I haven't been back here in years exclusively due to his presence and the lack of quality in his content and how it attracts the worst from others. I'm tired of the over exposure to negativity and his being here has become analogous to a stone in one's shoe. I fear he's single handedly compromised the integrity of the overall vibe and direction of QBN and every time I see his posts in a thread I immediately exit b/c I simply do not care for this person's opinions and comments. This is more than disagreeing with another, this is witnessing an unraveling of epic proportions and it's enabling childish behavior that reenforces a loop, ugh, so predictable.
Graf, do your thing, bravo. Just know that most here cannot stand you, believe your content is shite, and that your overall disposition and philosophy on most things is both immature and bratty. I suppose there was a time and place where this behavior would have been corrected by some sort of moderation, but those days are obviously long gone. So I've decided to self moderate and just don't come here anymore. You cannot change the people around you, but you can change the people you choose to be around.
Graf's behavior is a compulsive addiction with desired dopamine hits, doom scrolling, and shit posting at its core. It's unhealthy, it's not entertaining anymore, and it's juvenile. It's a shame b/c I used to revere this space, would have fun posting shit, and commenting here and there. But now, what's the point? Come here to read Graf's millionth post about US politics, ugh, fuck this. You'd benefit from a similar detox of QBN and I can't even imagine what you're like elsewhere. I'm uncomfortable watching this occur in real time as well, that's what makes it even more pathetic. I empathize with Graf and his shortcomings b/c it's clear there's some digital addiction brain chemistry issues going on and seeing others perpetually comment on it as entertainment has become grotesque, in my opinion.
Graf, hope you get the help you need, but you need a digital break. As I parent my child issues of screen time come up constantly and I'm so happy that I can see a living and breathing example of how it negatively impacts adults, it's a great barometer, as sad as it is to say.
