A classic every year at this time of year:
"Hey, sorry to send you work during the holidays, but I need you to prepare a poster for us... I'll send you the content."
I'll prepare a proposal for them urgently and send it by email.
Total silence (I just found out they've gone on vacation and won't review it until January).
Why don't you ask me in January when you get back, when everyone's back and we don't have to wait for you?
* They're a regular client (and a good payer, that's why I forgive them everything). It doesn't bother me much either, because my wife and I usually work during this time of year. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
