We bought a new (tent sale) refrigerator this weekend and it was delivered today. So it was bought once, delivered to a house, but customer didn't like it so it was never hooked up and returned. We got a great deal on it.
Our old fridge was from 2001 and had developed a leak - traditional freezer on top, fridge on bottom, no frills.
Our new fridge is a counter depth, smudge-proof stainless steel, freezer on bottom. She's not as deep inside but fridge on top is great. It's such a huge visual upgrade when I walk into the kitchen now, the thing is a glowing silver food box of possibilities.
I'm afraid to see how quickly it will break as everyone I talked to has had to repair or replace their new refrigerators within 5 years or so. We got the 8 year warranty.
