My image posted as a link, so I fixed it below.
I wish he would have designed it in portrait mode, so I can see what I'm supposed to do for mobile. But what I think happens, is on mobile the hamburger menu in the top right causes the side bar to pop out from the left, and it covers the whole screen which is normal.
Does that sound right?
