Had the day off today and been trying to focus solely on the endless number of things I need to do to get an Etsy shop finished and there's just so much to do. It's completely overwhelming, between Etsy setup, product setup, POD printer setup, etc. etc.

My anxiety is already at peak insanity thanks to politics and this all just makes me feel like my chest is being crushed. It will get better as I get a round of products listed and really understand the full A-Z process, but it's just completely all-consuming.

    • Unless you’re active in politics with meetings and action, just try to tune that shit out. Your mental health is not worth that nonsense.monospaced
    • Appreciate the advice and trying my best. But being in the Chicago area, where so much ICE stuff is happening is mentally draining.mg33
    • I'm a massive empath and it's hard to not feel intense empathy for those impacted by all this evil. Thank God for therapy.mg33
    • That’s right! You’re in it.
      Stay strong.

    • for your mental is one thing, and that's to get the shop up... not to worry about something you can't do anything about... at least for now... be selfishcanoe
    • Thanks guys, seriously. I'm really eager to get the shop up; it will be the culmination of 18+ months / hundreds of hours working on my generative coded art.mg33
    • Nobody tells you how much is involved beyond simply making the images themselves. That's the easy part. Trying to figure out the right way to domg33
    • the Etsy part, the POD printer parts, make mockups, write descriptions, etc. so as to not make any mistakes.mg33
    • Maybe it’s something you scale. Start with 3-4 options and once you get wrinkles ironed out you open the flood gatesmonospaced

    • On Etsy it's best to launch with at LEAST 10 products. And be patient... the first "true" sales takes about 2 / 3 months.Centigrade

    • Thanks again! Aiming for 15 prints, just so much work doing mockups, writing stuff, etc. Can only do so much with AI.mg33
    • Hey mg33, sorry for the shit stuff. Etsy is a ball ache to set up but once set up you're good. Grind through the grinder. Use it to tune out the shite.Horp
