Post I made on FB:
Know what's possible at the same time?
1. You can hold the view that violence against anyone for any reason is 100% wrong and that Charlie Kirk's murder was senseless, evil, and wrong.
2. You can remind people that Charlie Kirk:
- Encouraged women to prioritize marriage and motherhood.
- Urged women to “submit to a godly man” and raise “more children than you can afford.”
- Said that “husbands should do everything he can to not force his wife into the workforce.”
- Advised high school girls to de-prioritize grades, not attend college for academic goals, and instead view education as a way to find a husband. He even called for reviving the concept of the “Mrs. Degree”—i.e., women attending college primarily to secure a spouse.
- Depicted a career-driven life for women as leading to misery, loneliness, or mental health issues—while casting traditional femininity and motherhood as the path to fulfillment.
- Said "I think empathy is a made-up New Age term that does a lot of damage."
- Pushed conspiracy theories and false narratives suggesting the hammer attack on Nancy Pelosi's husband wasn’t what it appeared to be, and called for “an amazing patriot” to bail out the alleged attacker, David DePape, stating: “If some amazing patriot out there in San Francisco or the Bay Area wants to really be a midterm hero, someone should go and bail this guy out... Bail him out and then go ask him some questions.”
- Said "I think it’s worth to have a cost of, unfortunately, some gun deaths every single year so that we can have the Second Amendment to protect our other God-given rights. That is a prudent deal. It is rational."

Speaking about his views on womens' roles in society, as the father of a daughter and as a man who loves and cares about all the women in my life who want more for their lives than someone like Kirk wanted for them, the evidence of Kirk's twisted and oppressive ideology, and his penchant for pushing it - quite often - on young, impressionable men was abhorrent and diametrically opposed to a functioning, fair, modern society
He did not deserve to be shot or have his life taken for any of his views. His daughters lost their dad, and his wife lost her husband. There's absolutely no reason for this to happen to anyone, ever.
- Well said. Way too many idiots celebrating.Fax_Benson

- people heckling a vigil a few hours after he died. I couldn't stand what he believed in but he's still winning arguments with these dimwits in death.Fax_Benson
