    Something really strange just happened.

I'm in LAX right now. Just flew in from Hawaii, my flight from Hawaii was United.

I opened my laptop and connected to the free wifi at LAX.
I'm working with Gemini 2.5 to design an app on Flutter.
All our conversations are related to this project. No other conversation regarding flights exist.

Gemini asked for a screenshot of my Flutter screen to guide me through a process and I uploaded. Then it gave me this answer.

The source at the bottom shows a PDF doc that I have about this app.
So the source of this output is not that, then what is it?

Either through my phone(android) or my Macbook it knows more than it's supposed to and somehow gave this answer.

I'm getting a bit creeped out here.

    • I'm waiting for my flight to Istanbul btw. Via Turkish Airline.Beeswax
    • the answer : "It appears my system incorrectly analyzed the image and mistakenly generated details about a flight."Beeswax
    • probably gets a bunch of user information injected into the system prompt to ensure contextual/localized results. Biased toward flight info due to airport wifi.monNom
    • Which has to make you wonder... if airport wifi is a stronger signal than the uploaded image, what other strong signals are skewing results?monNom
    • 1. Screenshot needs to be just the screen UI

      2. Somebody else in the flight using the wi-fi asked/scheduled that ticket Gemini got confused

    • The other person probably got your answer with the code :)))

    • ChatGPT also had user space leaks, it's not unusual for these models to confuse users

    • Surely that can’t be true? ChatGPT switching responses across user sessions? Fucking amateur hour over there. Did they vibe code their server infrastructure?monNom

    • "a “user space leak” refers to unfreed memory, not cross-user data exposure"canoe
