I've been wondering if it's finally time to upgrade from my Intuos4 (2009) to a screen tablet, and start drawing again.- Yes, I had both, the iPad Pro with procreate won********
- I don't know it it was just familiarity, but I found drawing on screen (cintiq-style) was less productive than wacom-style.monNom
- First, you have your hand over the artwork so you have to move it away all the time to re-assess... having an unobstructed view is actually pretty nice.monNom
- second, I use keyboard shortcuts constantly. Using the pen, or even the hard keys on the intuos are so slow in comparison.monNom
- The ipad and pencil do work really nicely, but they wouldn't be my choice for full-on illustration. I prefer a powerful PC and a wacom for that work.monNom
