  My wife recently discovered a great app called Too Good to Go. It will basically show you local pizza places, bagel shops, Whole Foods, etc that are selling perishable food at drastically reduced prices. We've mostly scored deals on pizza slices and bagels, but it's been a great find. The shops will usually post their available deals an hour or so before they close shop, but if it works with your schedule, it's a great way to save some scratch.
