Oh, the stock market—where the house always wins, unless, of course, you're the house and still manage to lose. Enter Trump: the self-proclaimed "stable genius" who turned insider tips into public tweets. His timely "THIS IS A GREAT TIME TO BUY!!! DJT" post on Truth Social, just hours before announcing a 90-day tariff pause, sent markets soaring and raised more eyebrows than a Wall Street bonus season.

The stock market is rigged, inside trading at its finest.

    • It’s not rigged. But manipulation is possible and very illegal.monospaced
    • Was DJTs tweet the official notice? Or was there some earlier filing that preceded the tweet (ie website updated, new release, treasury official, etc. )monNom
    • If I didn’t read his tweet because I didn’t know about it, or my internet was slow, is that insider info because others read it first?monNom
    • Stocks get traded by ai computers plugged into the freshest data sources on earth. They beat other computers by microseconds. I’d bet this was out there early.monNom
    • And that the massive ramp was almost exclusively computers trading at the start.monNom
    • Computers that were not just buying for the tariffs, but were forced to buy to cover short positions as the trend reversed.monNom
    • Oh, of course the stock market isn't totally rigged—just a wild coincidence that the rich *always* know when to buy, sell, and cash out before anyone else.utopian
    • Except the two prior days, where they lost 10%, or today, where they lost again? This was computers/short covering and a failed 2year bond auction before fraudmonNom
