Amid a market selloff, FoxNews.com this morning makes no mention of the stock market on its homepage. Undoubtedly, the movement in markets is the biggest news story in America this morning, so far. Foxnews is actively hiding the biggest story. The only mention of tariffs is the sixth story down. A status update about the “countries that have already folded.”

This is one of the clearest examples of media bias I’ve seen in recent times.

The thing about the market is, you can’t fool it. You can’t lie. It is merely an indicator of the sentiment of business.

I know that most of us here know very well that foxnews is fake news but it’s worth noting at this moment that there is, today, very obvious and unimpeachable proof that foxnews is bullshit.

The markets don’t lie. Fox does.

If you know someone who watches fox, this is a great week to show them how they’re being duped.

    • market is up today (as of now, and since the open).monNom
    • The market is like a monkey stung by a bee. You can check in to see where it is going, but don't expect it to be rational at any given moment.monNom
    • LULZ at “market is up today” as if that has any bearing on what I wrote above

    • You wrote that markets don’t lie. Markets lie all the time. Right up until they get caught. They are up today. Does that mean everything is okay again?monNom
    • Your premise is faulty. A) there was no bad news to report as market was up. B) markets are the wrong metric to look at for ‘truth’.monNom
