I work with a Romanian guy that is very like graf. Took me a while on the job to realise he wasn't the boss (and everyone else was just too nice to tell him to shut the fuck up).
My Romanian critiques everything i do - everything... edits, type treatment, pacing, composition, branding, audio... like I haven't been doing it professionally for 25 years... then pumps out some of the worst design I've ever seen in my life.
Guy has zero professional courtesy, client hates him and his work, wants to get rid of him but we've explained he'll end up having to pay 4x to replace him because he loves doing all the work no one else wants to do.
After a few years I can filter out the bullshit. It's only work and I can take critique. I like the guy, we talk about gardening.
Maybe one day Grafician will do the gardening.
