I was interested in printing some of my artwork a while back and did pretty extensive research into getting a high-end printer. The Epson pigment-ink based printers seem to be the way to go for 'giclee' type prints on textured papers. I think the 3800 and later models that will print A2 size looked like the best value proposition. They can often be had inexpensively second-hand. The ink is brutally expensive, and can dry out if not used regularly. However, if you are printing for customers, it's just something to factor into your price. Many art-stores and photo-finishing places can do a reasonable print for you if you need a one-off. Ultimately I did not buy the printer, as print-on-demand ended up making more sense for me, despite being more costly on a per-print basis.
