I'm willing to be corrected if I'm wrong... but...

Color management is for adjusting the colors and apperences of files before you print. I doesn't affect the way your injet/laser printer will handle it. Nor will it affect your final output at a printer.

What it's for is this: If you know the end method of production - the profiles will better help you to predict the outcome. If your monitor isn't calibrated properly - it won't really matter anyway. It's also really sensless to work with multiple profiles.

I usually work in Sheetfed Coated as my work is almost always run on a sheetfed press. It actually works well in desaturating the colors on screen so my end product won't be washed out.

    So to answer your questions:

Work with CM in all app's - but use the same profile accross.

No your output (color values) will not be affected by CM. But you WILL end up with inconsistent results if you aren't consistent with your CM profiles. And your project may look totally different when you go to press.

    does that make sense??
