What do you guys do in situations when you get together with old or current mates that still drink?
Do you still go to pubs, or watch a game but drink something else?
- curious about family get-togethers too, holidays etc. I've always enjoyed casual. drinking with friends and family but alcohol no longer agrees with me, even 1_niko
- ...drink messes with me, so I've stopped for the past month. But I don't really want to have to explain myself every time people want to grab a drink_niko
- A quick explanation (if even needed) where you simply state 'it doesn't agree w/me lately' is more than adequate. If you need to say more... fuck 'em. <3PonyBoy

- Avoid situations where drinking is the focus. In other situations, usually there are some people not drinking for various reasons.mort_
- Eg driving, pregnant, on antibiotics, or sober.mort_
- I found it normalised pretty fast for me, now my mates get me kombucha when they invite me over for hangs, which they know I like.slappy
- I was once at a get together and a friends kid got into a situation. I hopped in a car and went and picked him up. If anything people are happy to have a sober.slappy
