What is so bad about American healthcare that even average citizens enthusiastically celebrate the killer of the insurance company CEO?

This is the question _everybody_ should ask.

    • *healthcare system
      ********
    • This wouldn't happen in Europe...
      ********
    • America where the needs of the very, very few outweigh the needs of the many_niko
    • The system is brutal here. The healthcare is great in the cities, world class! But the insurance system is dystopian
      ********
    • Also people don’t really get how the CEO job works, as if he could hand out free healthcare if he wanted to. (He could but would be removed promptly)
      ********
    • But it is hard to describe how truly awful it is to deal with these insurance companies. Doctors, hospitals, nurses, literally everyone despises them.
      ********
    • Then everybody should call their representatives until they pass more equitable healthcase laws?
Oh wait, Big Insurance owns politicians

    • The most perverse thing to me is that these companies actively lobby to prevent people from having universal healthcare like virtually every modern economy...monNom
    • Only to close off access again when they deny claims. Now you get to pay a non-insured rate that is significantly higher than the insurer would pay otherwise.monNom
    • Sick stuff

    • I have 2 pre-existing conditions. It's a nightmare to try to get new medication. 99% of things are covered about 20%, making them about $800ea/month.formed
    • The convoluted part is if my insurance didn't cover anything, I'd get it for free from the drug company (totally fucked).formed
    • America is done.
Wealth inequality is worse than during the time when French folk gave the 1% the chippedy-chop.
