I became a dad two weeks ago. Not going to be around that much for a while, but I'll miss ya'lls.
- Congratulations! I'm glad it presumably went well and Mum and kid are safe and happy?

Oideaist - huge congrats! not sure if you'll see this, but here's my 2cents on 'night time' duties...exador1
- having to figure out 'who's turn it is to get up in the night to change or feed' gets old pretty fast.exador1
- what my wife suggested, and what worked for us was 'shifts'... since she was home all day with the baby, my 'shift' began the second i got home...exador1
- til 2am... so.. from 5pm til 2am, whatever needs doing, i was the one doing it...exador1
- that way my wife got time to herself, and it let her relax etc...exador1
- at 2am, i could go to sleep, and get enough rest to basically function at work the next day properly...exador1
- I can't say it'll work for you as well as it did for us, but for us it was a game-changer :)exador1
