    There's 'controversy' in my redneck / good-old-boy rural neighborhood... whether or not the 'mountain lion' is back or if everyone is just seeing bobcats / lynx.

    Early this morning my pup and I walked right up on a big BIG fuzzy kitty.

    When we first encountered it — it was staring at us head-on like this guy:

    When it finally turned and ran off it's coloring / body size from the side looked exactly like this guy:

    It was literally on the other side of a little 2-way street about 20 feet from us, right on the edge of the woods. My pup didn't freak out and the cat didn't react much to us — we just stopped and stared at each other once I caught in my flashlight.

    Bobcat / Lynx look like this:

    That is not what we came across
