Recently, I applied for a job with a company called "Horizon" through LinkedIn. After spending hours filling out an extensive interview and questionnaire, I received an email the next day informing me that I had been hired. However, something felt off. The email included a logo for "Horizon" with the tagline "Secure Tomorrow," which, upon further investigation, turned out to be the name of the antagonist organization in the video game "Rainbow Six."

My deeper research revealed that I was actually dealing with an asshole scammer company based in India, mos-def not a legitimate employer. Realizing this, I immediately cut off communication with them.

With some extra time on my hands, I decided to turn this experience into something creative, a corporate style video for the fictional "Horizon" organization. This video is both a cautionary tale and a bit of fun, highlighting the absurdity of the situation I found myself in. It's a reminder to always research thoroughly before getting too far into a job application process and to stay vigilant against scams.

Originally i wanted to add footage of things like people getting waterboarded and maybe some other evil corporation stuff in it but I couldn't find any footage like that, I considered using a scene from Zero Dark Thirty's torture scene but I wouldn't be able to grade it so I ended up just making it look like an official corporate video. Fuckin' scammers!
