It all depends on what you pay for.
I pay for 3 megs down and 386k up.
My acctual Speeds are 2.8 megs down and i get 510k up... go figure.
I have the SBC 44 Dollar Package.
It really smokes.
You cant really compre Cable to DSL unless you know the Specs behind them. Cable tends to be faster when you compare the lowerend packages.. but DSL prices are coming down for higher speeds such as mine.
Compare the Speeds... and compare the prices.... If they say 1.5.. most likely it will be 1.2-1.3
and the upload will be what they say.. or greater.
