For @mort_; haven't gotten into it BBBUUUTTT:
ALSO all of Anthony Bourdain: Parts Unknown; after a nervous breakdown years back I bought all of the seasons and watched them all on repeat; best thing CNN ever produced.
*thumbsup* @ food, travel, etc.!!!
- That looks great. I also love Anthony Bourdain but have only skimmed the surface so far. He’s very meditative to watch.mort_
- Ah, nice post. I've only just begun watching his show from start to finish. He's amazing. There's a lot to get through.Ianbolton
- +1 for everything Anthony Bourdain ever wrote or starred in.MrT
- Bourdain was a legend, I was genuinely sad at his passing, it was a very sad ending for him. But what an intellect, what a voice, and what a way with words....BuddhaHat
- +++ Bourdain. Absolute legend.Continuity
- @mort I used to think he was some old lame guy trying to be hip and edgy for TV. Then I read Kitchen Confidential. Dude was a real one.garbage
- Yeah I must give it a read @garbage. Not that I need any convincing of his genuineness but ithe book sounds rich with anarchic lore.mort_
- I grew up with food industry folk and have gotten to spend a lot of time in high end kitchens and after hours. Kitchen folk are insane. His story checks out.garbage
