    First polling since Trump's conviction shows a majority thinks it was decided fairly and Biden moves into the lead but it's still basically a tied race.

    The hope for Democrats is that their lead will increase more once it moves from registered voters to likely voters. Most early polls are surveying everyone without factoring in whether they're actually intending to vote.
