I just had an gelato affogato* (espresso with vanilla ice cream) prepared at home... and it is incredible.

I don't like coffee and I'm not into sweets, but this brew is bearable.

*Inspired by Erik Spiekermann, apparently he takes it daily.

    • I love both ice cream and coffee. I get this when the family is getting ice cream and I want to be "reasonable".palimpsest
    • serving as a flaming affogato with rum on the espresso adds a bit of urgency to proceedings, and rumkingsteven

    • lol, it's the classic Italian ice cream float. There's a brand that makes the same flavor, but it's nothing without the heat.garbage

    • @nb: No, it's not that I like it... I haven't had coffee for 5 months (because I associated it with smoking) and I try not to drink added sugar in anything...OBBTKN
    • It's all Erik's fault because there was a tub of my daughter's vanilla ice cream in the freezer :(OBBTKN
